With the province beginning to open up, the Diocese is allowing us to resume in-person worship services cautiously. Here is how we will proceed:
- The 10 am service will resume on Sunday February 6. The 8 am service will resume on March 6.
- Pre-register by email (stmarks@stmarksottawa.ca) or by phone (613-224-7431) due to a capacity limit
- Anyone with COVID symptoms should assume that they have the virus and stay home
- Provide proof of double vaccination, if you have not shown it to us before. Booster shots are strongly encouraged.
- Masks must be worn when you enter the building and throughout the service, except when taking communion. Three-layer, medical or N95 masks are encouraged
- Physical distancing (except for members of the same household) must be maintained at all times
- No congregational singing is NOW permitted
- Come warmly dressed since some windows will be open to improve ventilation.
- Leave the church promptly after the service
We anticipate further loosening of our diocesan COVID protocols in the coming weeks. Livestreaming of our 10 am. service will continue to be offered every week.
